How inclusive is your organization?
The baseline measurement of NewBees INC.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DIG) are important themes and demonstrably contribute to a more productive workplace. With the Baseline Assessment, NewBees INC. determines the state of DIG within your organization. After conducting an internal analysis, our experts assist your board and management through strategy session(s), personal coaching, and concrete goals to make the organization run more efficiently!
This video is part of the five-part video series "Getting Started with Diversity and Inclusion" from SER Diversity in Business. In it, our director, Valerie van Lanschot, shared practical insights into what works for them—practical, honest, and applicable.
The baseline measurement consists of the following steps:
1. Our Indicators
At the start of the Baseline Assessment , our experts paint a clear and scientifically substantiated picture of the organization's DIG level based on 9 carefully selected indicators . We begin this by distributing surveys.

2. In-depth analyses
Further data is collected via in-depth interviews, stakeholder sessions , and potentially deep dives . The results are analyzed and interpreted, and subsequently categorized based on the 9 indicators.
These results are placed on a scale to determine exactly where your organization stands per indicator!
3. Expert advice report
In our advisory report, the 9 indicators are divided into three broad categories: structure, culture , and behavior. Here, we assign a score to the status of these three points within your organization and provide tips, tools, and concrete goals.
This way you can immediately start making your organization and team even more effective!

Objectives of the baseline meeting in brief:
- Clear overview of DIG level per indicator
- Concrete and targeted advice and actions
- Creating awareness and support among colleagues
- Implement long-term improvements
- Structural changes and an inclusive culture
